This maximizes our relationships while working together for the greater good of God's will.
Our Small Groups include: wonderful Choirs and a Praise Band, study of the Bible and Life Topics groups, Mission groups and Fellowship groups.
Our Children's groups include: Sunday School, Children's Choir Vacation Bible School in the Summer and Picnics/Parties throughout the year.

...AND MORE
As we gradually move out of the Covid Epidemic, we are taking care to remain a safe and healthy place for all our participants.
We are especially careful about the elders of our congrgation.
Our various programs from Boy/Girl Scouts to Mission retreats every year are in the planning stage and soon to be rescheduled.
We are especially looking forward to our retreats and camps where we gather, spend time in nature and other settings, and devote some time to pure worship, centering prayer, inspiration and dedication to God
Thank God for Our Pastors

Rev. Dr. John Wang
Initially, Rev. Wang trained to be a small animal veterinarian in Taiwan. He was licensed in Taiwan after completing his Dr. of Veterinary Medicine. This led him into a study of Immunology and he earned a PhD from the University of Connecticut (UCONN) Medical School.
After he realized that God was calling into “Soul” care and he enrolled in Asbury Theological Seminary where he received a Masters of Divinity.
Returning to Southern California, Rev. John was ordained as a full Elder by the Calif-Pacific Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church in 2005 and served four churches: the Blessed Chinese UMC in Rowland Heights, LA Chinese UMC, St. Matthew’s UMC and then Friendly Valley Community UMC near Newhall.
He retired in 2022 after 22 years of active ministry and is currently Pastor Emeritus at the Cornerstone UMC in Placentia.
Rev. John has been married to Ellen Wang for 40 years and they have two sons, Chris and John Mark, who was recently ordained a full UMC elder in the Cal-Pac Annual Conference in 2019.
John writes:
God bless you and Jesus loves you!

Rev. Akanesi Tupou, M.Div.
Malo e lelei and Greetings!
Pastor Akanesi Tupou, ("Nesi"), a Tongan-American woman born in Tonga and raised in Hawaii and Southern California. She has been deeply influenced by her upbringing in the United Methodist Church.
Pastor Nesi enjoyed being part of the church handbell choir as well as being an assistant youth director and a member of the UMW(UWiF). These formative experiences have had a profound impact on her spiritual development.
Interestingly, despite coming from a family with a long line of ministers, she pursued a career in the airline industry and earned a degree in Criminal Justice aiming at becoming a federal employee. However, as the years passed, Pastor Nesi could no longer ignore God's calling in my life.
Her life experiences and connections with diverse cultures have led her to dedicate herself to making the teachings of the Gospels accessible to all.
Supported by her loving family and guided by the wisdom of her home church and pastor, she enrolled at the Claremont School of Theology (CST) and earned a Master of Divinity from CST in May, 2020, part of the first class to do so online. Her path to ministry has been unexpectedly transformative.
As a fifth-generation pastor on her paternal side, and as a sixth-generation on her maternal side, Pastor Nesi made history on her paternal side of the family as the first female pastor.
In all her endeavors, her prayers and aspirations are to serve with unwavering faithfulness and intentionality, embracing and sharing the transformative teachings of the scriptures, guided by the boundless love and grace of God.
From Pastor Nesi:
Ofa atu and God Bless you!
