The Ministries of First United Methodist Church

The Church provides support through many areas of ministry.  Check out a few listed below and go to the related pages for more details.

Worship

We  have three Sunday morning worship services.  Two in English and one in Cantonese.  We also have special services on Christian Holy days like Christmas, Ash Wednesday, and Easter. 

Education

Each Sunday morning we have Sunday School at 10:00 a.m.  We also have Adult Sunday School at 9:00 a.m.
We also have several Bible study programs and other Christian Education programs during the year.

Fellowship

We believe Christian Fellowship is the central foundation of our Church.  We therefore have a variety of fellowship groups ranging from long standing groups that build close church family ties to small short term groups that help people deal with specific needs.

Outreach

We have several programs that reach out to our community and the world.  These include our Missionary support, Community involvement and opening the doors of the Church to worthwhile organizations like a Japanese Pre-School and Scouting Groups.

Prayer Support

We have groups of dedicated people that strongly believe in the power of prayer.  They are more than happy to pray for the needs of Church Family and friends.  If you need God's help, let us know through the FEEDBACK page and we will be happy to include you in our prayers.
