How we serve God in our Community and the in the World

The First United Methodist Church of San Gabriel has several ways to serve the community and the World.  We have groups that serve the local congregation (United Methodist Men, Sunday School Teachers, several Choirs, etc)   We have prayer groups that pray for not only the congregation but anyone that needs the help of God.  We have groups that work for world missions (United Methodist Women UMW and the Commission of Missions) . We have groups that provide needed information to the community (Health Forum and the Low Vision groups)  We also have many members that take active part in supporting community groups like People for People, that help the poor in the community, and United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) that help people in need throughout the World.
