Prayer Groups

The First United Methodist Church of San Gabriel has several prayer groups that pray for all that ask for help. 

There is a weekly Prayer Group that meets at the church every Thursday.  In addition there is a Prayer Chain that responds immediately to people's need for prayer.  Once the Church Office is notified the first person in the chain is called and they call the second person and then stops what they are doing and prays for the need.  This continues until all the members of the chin are praying for the need.

Prayer needs can also be communicated at the Sunday Services and prayers are offered at the service and the need is passed on the the Prayer Group.
