Rev. Samuel Chow Being born and raised in Hong Kong, I served as high school teacher and principal in Hong Kong for sixteen years before I came to the United States with my wife and our two children. I got my M. Div. degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena in 1993. I was ordained Deacon in 1993 and Elder in 1996 by the California-Pacific Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. I was appointed to the Chinese United Methodist Church of Los Angeles in 1993 and served there until July 1, 2006 when I was appointed to the First United Methodist Church of San Gabriel. I have the passion for the word of God and for His people. I love preaching. My vision is to reach out to the community. I love the people and am willing to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with them. The mission of the church is to serve the spiritual needs of the people around us. I serve the people through caring, teaching, counseling, visitation and helping them in their needs. I am available in the church Tuesday to Sunday.
